CUSTOMER BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS 

1. Statement of Risk: 

1.1 - Outdoor and adventurous activities often involve learning new skills in unfamiliar environments. As such these activities have an element of risk, which includes a danger of personal injury or death. 

1.2 - Participants and/or their parents/guardians undertaking these activities should be aware of and accept these risks. The Peak Climbing School ensures that it’s range of safety management systems are updated regularly & inspected by external National Governing Body representatives. 

1.3 - The Peak Climbing School reserves the right to cancel or modify any activity if it believes there to be unacceptable risk attached in offering such an activity to the public. The Peak Climbing School decision is at its sole discretion.

2. Statement of Physical Ability: 

2.1 - You should ensure that you or the person undertaking the activity has an adequate level of fitness and a certain level of confidence, in order to take part in the activity that you wish to book. 

2.2 - The Peak Climbing School reserves the right to cancel or modify your activity or booking if your / their physical ability puts you / theirs, other customers, the general public or staff at adverse risk. If you have any concerns about this please contact The Peak Climbing School before your course and discuss it with our instructors on the day.

3. Data Protection: 

3.1 - Personal details will be stored and used by The Peak Climbing School to send you important information on matters relating to our activities and events. 

3.2 - Your information will not be shared with other organisations or used for any other purpose without your consent. If you supply us with your email address, we will add you to our electronic mailing list unless you opt out. 

3.3 - The participants’ contact details will not be sold or passed to further third parties.

3.4 - The Peak Climbing School will occasionally take photos of participants for publicity, including use on our own website www.peakclimbingschool.co.uk and on social media. If you do not wish for the participant(s) to be photographed, please opt out on your consent form.

4. Booking:

4.1 - All bookings must be reserved online, via email or by telephone.

4.2 - In the case of a deposit being taken, full payment must be made 14 days prior to the course start date. 

4.3 - In the event that the course fee is not paid in full, The Peak Climbing School has the right to refuse you to participate on the course or event.

4.4 - Any booking amendments must be made in writing and will be subject to our cancelation policy.

4.5 - Amendments are only permitted subject to availability and at the discretion of The Peak Climbing School. 

4.6 - Most courses require a minimum of 2 people to sucessfully run, if this number hasn't been met then The Peak Climbing School will issue credit to be used on another course.

5. Cancellations:

5.1 - Cancellations must be made in writing via email or letter. 

5.2 - If you cancel your booking within 14 days of your course start date, you will not be entitled to any refund or credit.

5.3 - If you cancel outside of the 14 days prior to your course starting, you will be given the opportunity to either re-book onto any other course running at a later date; given credit to be used in our shop or any other future courses.

5.4 - In the event of a cancelation by The Peak Climbing School due to unsuitable conditions or forces outside of The Peak Climbing Schools control customers will be offered the following: 

  • Chance to re-book onto another course of your choice.
  • Credit to be used on any future courses or shop purchases.

5.5 - If The Peak Climbing School cancels a course because of factors within our reasonable control, we will offer a full refund.
