Summary:

Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye is one of the most impressive ridge lines in the UK and world reknown for its beauty. It's as close to climbing in the Alps as we have in the UK and the only real difference to the style  of ascent is altitude. Your trip will hopefully see you tick off some of the best scrambles the mountain range has to offer but also see us attempt to traverse the ridge line in one push. If an available weather window presents itself the traverse normally takes 2 days with a Bivi half way and sleeping under the stars on this iconic ridge is a memory you'll never forget.

Who's this for?

Hill walkers or mountaineers looking for a new adventure. A reasonable level of fittness is required for this trip so regular walking to train is advised. Some scrambling experience is also recommended as the ridge is quite a challenge and a good head for heights wouldn't be a bad trait. 

Itinerary:

• Day 1: If we aim to meet at the Fairy Pools Carpark for 9am. We will spend this day scrambling on a great grade 2 scramble and just get to know one another. Whilst out on the route, we will practice a few skills, check kit and chat to you about our plans for the traverse.
• Day 2-3: We will attempt the whole ridge line if possible in one push! However weather does play a massive part in being capable of doing like this as it takes 2 days! So we will need a good window of opportunity do attempt it in this style. If the weather isn't playing ball then we will seige the ridge in sections over the days we have together.
